Helena Casella is a Belgian-Brazilian composer and singer who grew up in a very musical family. In her music, she explores various genres such as R&B, neo-soul, hip hop, modern jazz, and Brazilian rhythms, blending these influences in her own unique way. Through this, Helena expresses her thoughts and daydreams. Her music offers personal and relatable stories that resonate with the audience on both an emotional and intellectual level. Her vocal reflections showcase a mix of familiar rhythms and harmonies, combined with elegant, unexpected variations. She conveys this passionately with a soft yet intense voice.

 

Following her acclaimed debut album Pit of Impressions (2025), Helena established herself as one of Belgium’s most compelling emerging artists. She will release her second album, Tumult, in February 2027. Together with her band, she is currently developing an international live circuit around the new record.

 

Her debut album Pit of Impressions was released in early March 2025 on the Belgian label W.E.R.F. Records. About her album, she says in the Belgian magazine HUMO: "It’s a true listening album, one that will only fully reveal itself to those who make time for it and actively and attentively listen."

In haar muziek verkent ze verschillende genres zoals R&B, neo-soul, hiphop, moderne jazz en Braziliaanse ritmes en verwerkt deze invloeden op haar eigen manier. Na haar veelgeprezen debuutalbum Pit of Impressions (2025) groeide Helena uit tot een van de meest veelbelovende nieuwe artiesten van België. In februari 2027 brengt ze haar tweede album, Tumult, uit. Samen met haar band werkt ze momenteel aan een internationaal livecircuit rond de nieuwe plaat.​​
