LũpaGangGang is the band of Anton Robberechts (vocals, guitar), Lena Thijs (vocals, bass), Miel De Koninck (keys) and Rob Swennen (drums). LũpaGangGang lives inbetween experimental pop and post-jazz, non-conforming, unclassifiable, nostalgic, dreamy, but undeniably real.

After their first EP Stalingrad (2020) and its follow-up Urban Detox (2022), the band released their debut album Dopamine Overdose in 2023 via the renowned label Sdban Ultra. With this release, they firmly established themselves within the Belgian and international alternative scene.

​

Their second album, Faulty Circuits, is scheduled for release in the fall of 2026. For this record, the band deliberately aimed for a more refined, produced sound and collaborated with producer Pieter-Jan Decraene. The result marks another step in their evolution, with their identity coming into even sharper focus, featuring subtle nods to artists such as BadBadNotGood, Black Country, New Road, and Orions Belte.

LũpaGangGang remains a band that navigates between experiment and direction, between searching and finding. This dynamic is most evident on stage, where their infectious energy and joy of playing turn every show into an intense experience. Fresh, idiosyncratic, and with a strong sense of attitude, that’s LũpaGangGang today.

LũpaGangGang is de band van Anton Robberechts (zang, gitaar), Lena Thijs (zang, bas), Miel De Koninck (toetsen) en Rob Swennen (drums). LũpaGangGang beweegt zich tussen experimentele pop en post-jazz: eigenzinnig, ongrijpbaar, nostalgisch, dromerig, maar onmiskenbaar echt.

Na hun eerste EP Stalingrad (2020) en de opvolger Urban Detox (2022) bracht de band in 2023 hun debuutalbum Dopamine Overdose uit via het gerenommeerde label Sdban Ultra. Met deze release vestigde de band zich stevig binnen de Belgische én internationale alternatieve scene.

Hun tweede album, Faulty Circuits, verschijnt in het najaar van 2026. Voor deze plaat koos de band bewust voor een meer verfijnd en geproduceerd geluid en werkte ze samen met producer Pieter-Jan Decraene. Het resultaat vormt een nieuwe stap in hun ontwikkeling, waarbij hun eigen identiteit nog scherper naar voren komt, met subtiele knipogen naar artiesten als BadBadNotGood, Black Country, New Road en Orions Belte.

LũpaGangGang blijft een band die laveert tussen experiment en richting, tussen zoeken en vinden. Die dynamiek komt het sterkst tot uiting op het podium, waar hun aanstekelijke energie en speelplezier van ieder optreden een intense ervaring maken.
