BIOGRAPHY

Helena Casella is a Belgian-Brazilian artist, composer and vocalist blending neo-soul, jazz and contemporary R&B into an distinctive and emotionally rich sound. Her music combines organic arrangements, personal storytelling and a voice that moves effortlessly between tenderness and power.

 

Helena will release her second album, Tumult, in February 2027. Together with her band, she is currently developing an international live circuit around the new record.

 

Following her acclaimed debut album Pit of Impressions (2024), Helena established herself as one of Belgium’s most compelling emerging artists, earning international airplay and press across Europe, including FIP, BBC Radio 3, NTS, Radio 1, NPO Jazz&Soul, Echoes Magazine and We Jazz Magazine. The album sold out its first three vinyl pressings and led to performances at festivals and venues including Gent Jazz, Jazz Middelheim, Les Nuits Botanique and Fifty Lab.

 

Her live profile is now expanding internationally, with recent performances at London’s Brick Lane Jazz Festival and The Jazz Café, as well as Dutch festivals Motel Mozaïque and Into The Great Wide Open. In October 2026, she will perform at MIL Lisbon.
